Inside Sales Representatives – Wound Closure – Remote (12 month fixed term contract)

As part of a team expansion project across the EU, IQVIA is recruiting for several remote Inside Sales positions in Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands on behalf of our client – a highly respected global company renowned for its innovation and success within pharmaceutical, consumer health and medical device sectors. 

In these newly created roles, you will be responsible for connecting with healthcare professionals using a variety of virtual channels to generate leads at the beginning of the sales funnel, which will then be followed up by your field-based colleagues. Target customers will be orthopaedic surgeons, with the aim of inspiring interest in an innovative range of knotless sutures which offer significant improvements in clinical and economic outcomes. 

Key tasks include:

  • Gaining customer insights through account analytics to identify needs, optimizations & sales opportunities to both qualify and convert leads
  • Promoting suitable product solutions according to usage, defined needs, & possibilities.
  • Informing customers on product benefits and how to use online tools
  • Engaging proactively with customers to create interest and progress from leads up to opportunities (suture trial confirmation)
  • Generating & qualifying the lead before handing over to field reps
  • Converting marketing and inbound leads (e.g., congress, webinars) to qualified opportunities
  • Handling objections from customers to work towards an agreement to take part in a trial
  • Managing leads and moving them along the sales funnel with the aim of securing a trial
  • Introducing the handover to field reps using the current relationship as a starting platform to build trust for the field rep.
  • Defining next targets for lead generation activities with field reps and Marketing colleagues
  • Inventory management, product code suggestions, connecting with customer service to ensure most efficient customer experience.
  • Requirements:

    We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:

  • Outstanding communication and engagement skills, with a persistent, target focused, self motivated approach
  • Prior experience of face to face or remote selling within a customer focused or administrative role preferred
  • Strong IT skills with experience in relevant remote sales tools strongly preferred
  • University degree (or equivalent) in healthcare, marketing, or a related discipline
  • Must be based in the country in question, and be eligible to work there full time
  • Fluency in local language and a good standard of English are essential (as training will be delivered in English)
