Responsibilities: Senior GL Accountant
As a Senior GL Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing monthly accruals and provisions, with a focus on payroll-related items;
- Reconciling all balance sheet items and preparing documentation for review;
- Preparing VAT Returns, including journal entries;
- Reconciling intercompany accounts, including loans/interests and invoices;
- Processing bank entries related to the GL;
- Actively participating in the month-end closing process;
- Participating in the statutory accounts audit;
Requirements
Requirements: Senior GL Accountant
In order to succeed in this role, we ask that you have:
- 3-5 years of financial or accounting experience, preferably in a large international organization;
- Minimum HBO level educational background in accounting, finance, economics or related field;
- Strong technical skillset in Office software applications;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and efficiently;
- Some familiarity and experience with ERP Systems, preferably Oracle;
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma would be considered a plus;
- Strong command of the English language required, Dutch preferred.
Salaris
The Offer: Senior GL Accountant
This role will have a monthly salary between 4500 and 5500 depending on knowledge level and experience.
