Would you like to strengthen Limburg by crossing borders? As Project Manager for Interreg Meuse-Rhine, you will be responsible for innovative, sustainable, and social projects in the Meuse-Rhine region.Project Manager ResponsibilitiesWhen receiving a project application, you assess whether the project will truly make an impact and if it is financially feasible. You prepare decisions relating to subsidy granting. Once a project kicks off, you guide its implementation, achieving actual results by regularly reviewing reports and visiting projects to monitor progress—both in content and finances. When needed, you implement project modifications. In short, you lead an interesting portfolio of projects on various topics, guiding their implementation. Knowledge exchange with other Project Managers and colleagues at the programme’s Managing Authority is essential to create the best impact across borders.Working as a provincial professional, you will push your boundaries every day and work in different places in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany to maintain close contact with beneficiaries of projects and with representatives of other European programmes. You will face challenges for which you can make full use of your specialty and broaden your expertise at the same time.RequirementsAt least 5 years of work experience at bachelor level, preferably with European‑funded (cross‑border) programs or projects; Proven experience managing projects, both content‑wise and financially; Fluent in English,both speaking and writing, and thorough knowledge of at least one of the languages of the programme area (French, German or Dutch); Drive for results;Has integrity and has planning and organising skills.BenefitsA gross monthly salary of €4,402.95 to €6,213.95 based on a 36‑hour workweek (scale 11); An Individual ChoiceBudget (ICB) of approximately 22% on top of the fixed salary, including holiday allowance (8%) and a structural year‑end bonus (8.3%).
