This is a position as a laboratory technician at a biotech company. The company is specialized in the production of personalized medicines, based on cell culturing activities. To aid in their production processes, the company is now looking for colleagues. In this job you will be culturing of human cells in a clean room. You will be following strict processes to ensure high quality products (GMP standard).The first weeks you will be following an extensive training, in which you will learn all about working in a clean room and performing the cell culturing processes and will be qualified to perform them. The company is not necessarily looking for candidates with prior experience in biotech production processes. As long as you have a laboratory background, a hands-on mindset and are eager to learn the process, we would like to get in touch to discuss this position in more detail.

For this position we are looking for a laboratory professional who meets the following requirements:A vocational (MLO) or bachelors degree (HLO, BASc) in life sciences, biotechnology, microbiology or similarPractical (internship) experience with sterile processes like cell culturing, molecular biology or microbiologyExperience with GMP and cell culturing experience are a nice to haveFluent in EnglishIn possession of a car or able to arrange oneAccurate worker, motivated to learn an extensive process and all related qualificationsLooking for a long term jobWilling to work in shifts (including evening, night an weekend). Types of shifts can vary per project of several months. Exact schedule and subsequent allowance to be determined per project.
