On the northern side of Maastricht is DHL’s Financial Shared Service Center, where nearly 570 professionals from diverse backgrounds work in financial roles.

The DHL Parcel Financial Accounting department comprises over 40 colleagues responsible for the accounting of four entities within DHL Parcel Benelux. In addition to administrative tasks, this team works on innovative solutions in automation and process improvement. The department is divided into three subteams: Accounts Payable, General Ledger – Treasury – Intercompany, and RPA. Due to increased activities and internal promotions, we are looking for a new colleague for the Treasury & Intercompany team.

The Intercompany team handles all financial transactions between different DHL entities. As an IC Agent, you will be the point of contact for both the business and administrative aspects of DHL Parcel Benelux. You will be responsible for accurately processing entries, resolving potential risks, and reconciling month-end figures with colleagues worldwide.



Job Description

  • Responsible for timely, high-quality, and efficient processing of intercompany balance sheet and profit & loss entries.
  • Monitoring AP & AR bookings and recording provisions and corrections.
  • Reconciling month-end figures with intercompany partners.
  • Analyzing intercompany discrepancies.
  • Performing balance reconciliations.
  • Managing financial risks.
  • Contributing to process improvements.


  • Job Requirements

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • You have 2-3 years of work experience.
  • You have administrative experience, preferably in a similar role within a financial environment.
  • You have experience working with Oracle (preferred) or SAP.
  • You are analytical and see problem-solving as a challenge.
  • You are able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English. The primary language is Dutch.
  • Knowledge of French or German is a plus.
  • PC skills: Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
