Role Overview
We are seeking a technically strong and experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise infrastructure systems.
This position combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, serving as the primary escalation point for the local IT team.
You will play a critical role in ensuring secure, high-performing, and resilient infrastructure services that support business operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the IT Infrastructure team.
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex issues.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management activities.
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure systems, including:
- VMware: vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN
- Citrix: XenApp/XenDesktop, ADC/NetScaler, WEM
- Storage: FC and SAS SANs (Dell Unity, ME series)
- Backup: Commvault, Veeam
- Microsoft: Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM, Intune
- Oversee incident and request management.
- Coordinate change management approvals.
- Track and report on SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Implement and maintain security best practices.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Manage and monitor security tools, including Qualys, BeyondTrust, and SentinelOne.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (Network, Cloud, Security, Service Desk) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare monthly performance and capacity reports.
Support
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support when required.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours assistance as needed.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience within enterprise IT infrastructure environments.
- Proven hands-on experience with:
- VMware, SAN Storage, and Backup technologies (Commvault, Veeam).
- Windows Server 2019/2022, Active Directory Tiering, and PowerShell.
- Security tools such as Qualys, SentinelOne, Zscaler, and Umbrella.
- Privileged Access Management (PAM), preferably BeyondTrust.
Preferred Qualifications
- VMware or Microsoft certifications (e.g. VCP, MCSA, MCSE).
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Strong communication skills and experience working in international environments.
