Aliform is a dynamic and innovative startup specializing in medical devices for skin surgery. Our first product, Celluleaf, is set to enter the US market this year. Located in the US and the Netherlands, we are now expanding our operational team in Maastricht. We are looking for a Head of Manufacturing to join us full-time in March 2025. This position is on-site at the Brightlands Maastricht Health Campus.
Your key responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee manufacturing of our medical device including hands-on involvement in early production runs.
- Establish and manage manufacturing and supply chain partnerships.
- Lead the design for manufacturing optimization to enable production upscaling.
- Transition pipeline technologies from prototype to market-ready products.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by collaborating with the quality team.
- Mentor and manage production team members.
Your qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Mechanical/Industrial/Biomedical Engineering or related fields.
- Experience working in medical device startups and small teams.
- Proven track record of bringing medical devices to market.
- Preferably experience in scaling production processes for medical devices.
- Knowledge of supply chain management and vendor coordination in a regulated industry.
- Independent, proactive work ethic with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
